Sub footer

This section is available on Honey version 4.0.0 and later. For earlier versions, please refer to the 'Frame' section in the article Footer.

  1. Under the Footer group, click the Sub footer section to open its settings in the side panel.
    • If the Sub footer is not already visible, click (+) Add section and select Sub footer.
    • To hide the Sub footer, click the "eye" icon.
  2. To change the background color of the Sub footer section, use the Color scheme dropdown.
  3. To change the color of the borders and lines in the Sub footer section, use the Border color dropdown.
  4. If desired, you may show decoration on your Sub footer. Use the Decoration option to select the decoration you desire. Select 'None' to hide all decoration.
    1. You may also upload your own Custom decoration. Use the selector provided and click Select image to open the image selector and select a custom image from your library or upload a new image.
    2. This image will appear above the section.
    3. We recommend an image size of 2400 × 200px in .png format.
  5. Add Copyright text. The default text is pulled from your store settings. It is "© [current year] [merchant name]." However, you can edit this text to whatever you desire. This text will appear above the payment icons.
  6. Check Enable country/region selector to allow customers view your products in their preferred currency. This will display a selector with the countries and currencies you have setup in your Shopify Market settings. Only stores using Shopify Payments can use this feature. Learn more.
  7. Check Enable language selector to allow customers view your store in their preferred language. Our themes provide translations for default theme text in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Japanese. You may add translations for other languages manually. To enable, you must add and publish the languages you want to display in your Language settings. To learn more about how to translate your store content please visit Shopify's guide on Localization and translation and Translating and localizing your store.
  8. Click Show payment icons to display a row of supported payment methods. If you are not based in the United States, or are not using Shopify Payments, you must add both a Payment Gateway and Payment Methods in your Shopify Admin for these icons to appear.   9. Click Save.
