Add a Mega Menu

Frame allows you to show two featured collections on the header. This is a great way to highlight a collection, promote a product, or advertise a sale.

1. Click the Header tab to open its settings.
2. Click Add Featured Collection to create a new featured collection. This will display on the header next to the nested menu list if you have one.
   
   

   

3. Choose the collection you want to show in the Collection field.
4. (Optional) If you want to use a custom image, you can upload your own. We recommend an image with a 1:1 aspect ratio at least 170px in size. If you don’t select a custom image, the default collection image or the image from the first available product will appear.
5. Click Save.

Honey offers the ability to add mega menu promotions in the header. This is a great way to highlight a collection, promote a product, or advertise a sale.

Note: Mega menu promotions are only visible on nested menu links, per the image above.

1. Click the Header tab to open.

2. Click Add Mega menu tab to create a new promotion.
3. Type the first-level Menu item under which you want to show the promotion.
   • For example, our Treasure demo store first-level menu items include Baby, Kids, and Mom. We could add a mega menu promotion to Baby, for example. You can apply different mega menu promotions to every first-level menu with an active nested menu. To learn how to create nested menus, please read this article.

   

   Note: The first-level Menu item is case-sensitive and must match exactly.

4. Click Select image to add an image to the promotional card. We recommend a 360 x 360px .jpg.
   • If your image does not have good contrast with your text, check Use text protection layer to show a semi-transparent black or white overlay on the image.
   1. Use the Text protection layer slider to change the lightness or darkness of the overlay. Keep slider at 0 to darken your image or slide to lighten your image. To remove this protection, uncheck Use text protection layer.
5. Use the Heading and Subheading fields to add text on top of your image.
6. You have the option to add a link to each image using the Link field.
7. To increase or decrease the font size of your text, use the Font size slider.
8. You may also select a custom text color for better contrast or to highlight a sale.
9. To add a second promotion in the same dropdown menu, add an image, text, and link to the PROMOTION 2 block.
10. Click Save.
