Cart Settings

With Honey, you can customize certain cart interactions and add or hide features. To configure, please go to Theme Settings > Cart and follow these instructions:

1. Select the Cart type you want to use in your store. This will appear with a customer adds a product to their cart.

   • Drawer: This setting will display a slide-out mini cart. This setting allows you to enable additional features such as Upsells, Gift Wrapping, and a Shipping Calculator.

     

   • Page: This setting will redirect customers to the cart page.

     

   • Popup notification: This setting will display a small popup notification confirming the item was added to the customer's cart. Upsells, gift wrapping, and other features are not available with this setting.

     

2. Select the Cart icon you desire: Bag, Basket, or Cart.

   

3. Add a Continue shopping link. This button will appear when the cart is empty. The default link will redirect customers to a collection page with all products.

Free shipping indicator

1. If your store offers free shipping after a certain spend, enable Show shipping indicator. This will encourage customers to add more items to their cart. The free shipping bar will only display on the cart page and cart drawer.
2. Add Free shipping minimum amount. Indicate the value in your store's main currency.
   1. Note: You must also configure your shipping rates to match this amount.

Calculate shipping

1. Honey offers a shipping calculator tool for your customers. To enable, check Enable calculate shipping.

Cart notes

1. If you want to allow your customers to add notes or instructions to their order, check Enable order notes.

Gifting

Honey offers the ability to offer gift wrapping to your customers. This option is available on the cart page and cart drawer. Please read the gift wrapping article to configure this option.

Product upsells

Honey offers the ability to add product upsells to your cart drawer and cart page. Displaying product upsells to customers makes it easier for them to discover new products, and can help increase your sales. Please read the Product upsells article to configure this option.
