Product Ratings and Reviews

This block displays a rating out of five, indicating the average product rating of the item. To function, you must install a product reviews app. We highly recommend Loox Product Reviews; it is fully integrated into all of our themes. However, you are free to select any app you desire.

  1. Navigate to Loox Product Reviews on the app store.
  2. Login if needed, then click Install.

  3. After you’ve installed Loox, follow the steps in their documentation to add product reviews and ratings to your store.

Frame

Product page:

  1. Navigate to Online Store > Themes.
  2. Open the theme editor by clicking Customize.
  3. Select the Product Template you want to edit from the dropdown menu in the top bar.
  4. In the side panel, under the Product page section, click on the Product rating block to open its settings.
    • If the Product rating block doesn’t exist, add it in the side panel. Under the Product page section click + Add block then select the Product rating  block.
  5. If desired check Show empty stars when there are no reviews option.
  6. If you are using a reviews app that uses Standard Metafields (Product rating and Product rating count) you may enable Use standard Metafields for ratings option. Note: this option is not compatible with Loox Reviews App.
  7. If desired, you can change the order of the blocks using the drag and drop handles ⋮⋮
  8. Click Save.

Complementary products:

  1. Navigate to Online Store > Themes.
  2. Open the theme editor by clicking Customize.
  3. Select the Product Template you want to edit from the dropdown menu in the top bar.
  4. In the side panel, under the Product content section, click on the Complementary products block to open its settings.
    • If the Complementary products block doesn’t exist, add it in the side panel. Under the Product page section click + Add block then select the Complementary products  block.
  5. Check the Show product rating option to enable it.
  6. If desired check Show empty stars when there are no reviews option.
  7. If you are using a reviews app that uses Standard Metafields (Product rating and Product rating count) you may enable Use standard Metafields for ratings option. Note: this option is not compatible with Loox Reviews App.

Honey

Product page:

  4. Under Product card check Show rating to display rating stars on the product card.
  5. If desired check Show empty stars when there are no reviews option.
  6. If you are using a reviews app that uses Standard Metafields (Product rating and Product rating count) you may enable Use standard Metafields for ratings option. Note: this option is not compatible with Loox Reviews App.
  7. Click Save.

Complementary products:
