Spotlight

Honey offers a section called Spotlight. Use this section to announce a campaign, event, or highlight a product.

Set up the section

1. Select the Template where you want to add the Spotlight section from the dropdown menu in the top bar.
2. In the side panel, click (+) Add section and select Spotlight.
3. If desired, you can change the order of your sections by using the drag and drop handles ⋮⋮
4. Click the Spotlight tab to open its settings.
5. Select a Layout to choose the design option you prefer.

   • Layout A:

6. Add a title
   • Add text in the Heading field; it will appear on the first line.
   • Add text in the Accent heading field; it will appear below the Heading text in your selected Accent font and will be bigger than the Heading text.
   • To adjust the font size, use the Font size slider. This setting will change both the Heading and Accent heading font sizes proportionally.
   • To change the text color, use the Text color dropdown.
     • If Layout A is selected, this setting will only change Heading text color. The change the Accent heading text color on Layout A please refer to step 9.
7. Click Select image to open the image selector. Select an image from your library or upload a new image. For best results, we recommend an image size of 800 x 800px in .png format.
   1. Note: Layout A is designed to crop the bottom of your image while letting the top of your image float outside of the border. Please review the example on our Paws demo store. We recommend selecting an image with an isolated figure or object and a transparent background.
8. If desired, add a link in the Link field.
9. If Layout A is selected, follow the below instructions. If not, skip this step.
   • This layout allows you to select a different color for each letter. Use the Text color picker to select a 4-color repeating scheme for each letter.
   • To change the background color of the circle, use the Background color dropdown.
   • To change the border color of the circle, use the Border color dropdown.
10. If Layout B is selected, follow the below instructions.
    • To change the background color of the section, use the Gradient background picker. If desired, you can remove this background by clicking Remove gradient inside the color picker tool.
    • To use one of the default image backgrounds provided by Honey, Select a background.
    • To use a custom image background, click Select image to open the image selector. Select an image from your library or upload a new image. For best results, we recommend an image size of 1000px x 1000px in .png format.
11. Click Save.

Note: Sections will appear on all pages that use the same template.
